Everyday in the United States of America, patients in hospitals, surgical centers and emergency treatment facilities need approximately 30,000 units of red blood cells, 6,000 units of platelets, and 6,000 units of plasma. (Vitalant.org/learn/impact-of-donation) If you are a member of Christ the King, you know dozens of folks who have received this life-saving gift. You're part of something bigger than yourself. The ultimate pay-it-forward moment- in order to move life forward- is the simple act of giving blood. You have a source of life within you that has the power to transform another life.
