Pastor Laura is delighted to be in ministry with Christ the King, Kenner since November of 2020. Together we are deepening faith, serving our neighbors and experiencing the love and salvation of God. Her off-time interests are reading, bird-watching, walking, cooking, and spending time with her Sweetie, Chris, and her cats. She likes adventure and has lived in Colorado, Indonesia, California, Oregon, and now Louisiana. She holds a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado, with minors in Community Leadership and Geography. Her MDiv is from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkely California, 2013, with an Emphasis on Peace and Justice, and a certificate in Sacred Dance. Her favorite book is entitled simply, "Luke."
