Christ the King is seeking a gifted and dedicated Organist/Pianist to enrich our worship life through inspiring, skillful music.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide organ and/or piano music for Sunday worship, mid-week services (Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week), and special services.
  • Rehearse with and accompany the adult choir (Weekday and 30 minutes prior to Sunday worship).
  • Accompany soloists and instrumentalists as needed.
  • Offer organ solo literature including preludes, offertories, and postludes.
  • Collaborate with the Pastor and Director of Music in planning worship.
  • Assist in overseeing tuning and maintenance of instruments.
  • Maintain ongoing professional musical development.

Qualifications:

  • Strong sight-reading skills
  • Ability to follow a conductor
  • Comfort with a variety of musical styles
  • Collaborative spirit and heart for worship
