Christ the King Lutheran Church

Now that’s what I’m talking about; a fun night of bonco at no cost.  You        have very graciously supported Boomers Plus events in the past, so we want to give back to you.  On Saturday, September 25th, immediately following the Saturday evening service, bring a dish to share and join us in the community center for a great night of fellowship and fun.  No sign up sheet, no cost, just show up and eat, drink and have a blast.  We will provide bottled water, soft drinks
and desserts only. Remember, bonco is an adult only event and all adults and friends are invited and encouraged to attend and it’s all FREE!  FREE!!  FREE!!!

This is a biblically based learning exercise on how to love!

Due to the oil disaster in the Gulf, many families in our coastal communities are facing very serious economic problems. The East Jefferson/River Parishes Thrivent Chapter is raising money to support these families. The Chapter will match $1 for every $1 donated up to $1,600.

If you would like to help our neighbors on the coast, please make a check out to Christ the King and indicate that it is for Oil Spill Disaster.

Funds will be collected until Sunday, September 26th.
